The genre of Hip-Hop has become a central topic of depiction in many Hollywood films recently. Despite the music side of Hip-Hop/Rap not making an entrance in the film “Boyz n the Hood,” the film is a noteworthy example of a film that has contributed to the image of the ghetto as it details the struggles of social life some experience every day.
