In other words, those who have a fixed mindsets are afraid of challenges and devastated by setbacks. Those who with a growth mindsets relish challenges are resilient in the face of setbacks.
This article is talking about two types of people : a fixed mindset and a growth mindset.
Those who are fixed mindset hold the view that intelligence is fixed and each person has a certain amount of their abilities that can not be developed. Those who are growth mindset have an opposite view that intelligence can be cultivated through effort and education. As a result, people with fixed mindsets made challenges threatening themselves. But people with growth mindsets getting smarter by confronting challenges and profiting from mistake and persevering in the face of setbacks.
