Brandy Vela died because of suicide she was 18, the turning point for most teens and the adventure into adulthood. She was cyber bullied to death, She traumatized her family by committing suicide in front of them. She prevented herself from being able to be a successful worker in the government or from having dreams to be something. Brandy Vela hurt family and friends with what she did. The government not illegalizing social media prevented her from becoming a successful woman. Even though she could’ve prevented all of this from happening by just deleting the app or selling her computer or telling what she was going through. The government shouldn’t make teens that are going through growing stages put that much stress on themselves to make such big decisions like committing suicide because of depression from social media or cyberbullying. When a teen commits suicide it not only leads to you not being on the earth anymore but also their family not having you here and being sad and traumatized because they aren’t there anymore. When a teenager commits suicide it also makes teens not be successful in life and conquer fears or conquer dreams that they want. When a parent can’t see their child go through life it kills them, traumatizes them, changes them for good. Making social media illegal for adolescents and adults under 21 could mean the best for the world for parents and for the government. If the government illegalizes social media it could mean that more teens would be staying out of trouble and less teens would be cyber bullied from social media.
