“Bravery is the capacity to perform properly even when scared half to death”, is a basic motto to describe a mongoose such as Rikki-tikki. Mongooses usually tend have a curious and a brave instinct that helps them become strong fighters. “Some mongooses are legendary snake fighters.” says Alina Bradford, Live Science Contributor, which perfectly describes Rikki-tikki’s instinct in the movie and the book. Rikki-tikki, known as the mongoose that defeated a king cobra, became known throughout the garden.
