The Nathan Bedford Forrest Monument is a large bronze sculpture that is situated in the heart of the medical district in Memphis, Tn. The monument features the likeness of Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate army general during the American Civil War in 1861-1865 and later the Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan in 1869. He was a highly successful general and leader in both of his professions.
