After Britain controlled Kenya for around 91 years the average earnings in both agriculture and public services were both going up. The average in European men rose by more that 500 pounds in both agriculture and public service. But then their are the African average earnings. They were going up except at their height they were at 31 pounds for the average. This shows how much the Europeans had taken control and not cared for the people that were actually born there (Document Q). The growth of Railroads, Roads, and Postal Service went up after Britain colonized Kenya. This does correlate to economic growth except it could be positive or negative for Kenyans (Document O). Kenya’s GDP rank has gone up ever since they became adjusted after becoming independent.
