This series finished with Broadway Melody of 1940, and then the fat lady sang proving it was all over, thankfully this was the reality, since I can't imagine Broadway Melody of 2015.
What big name stars of today would sing and dance for everyone's amusement--Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Chris Pratt, Justin Timberlake, Ozzie Osborne, Katy Perry, Tom Hanks, Bruno Mars, Robert Downy Jr., Kevin Hart, Brad Pitt, Ringo Starr, Elvis (if he's still alive out there), just to name a few. Hey, some actors may have hidden talents which singing and tap dancing would be a requirement!
Fortunately, this will be the existence of another universe, and not a manifestation of ours, which make musical haters everywhere deliriously happy.
