Brene Brown states vulnerability is the core of shame, fear, and struggle for worthiness. But it's also the birthplace of joy, creativity, belonging, and love. I don't agree with this because when I'm fearful I get anxious, and that causes me to be uncertain about my future. When I'm surrounded by family on a calm and relaxed day is when I feel a sense of belonging. I don't believe vulnerability conceives pleasure or endearment.

She continues by saying we can't selectively numb an emotion. When we numb vulnerability we numb joy, gratitude, and happiness. In turn we become so miserable that we search for purpose and meaning. Once again I disagree with this statement because when I deprive myself of vulnerability I become more confident
