Bruce Crandall is a recipient for the Medal of Honor award. Bruce still lives in Washington, his home town where he was born. He has 3 children and he used to have a wife but she passed in 2010 from cancer. They married in 1956. They also have 5 grandkids. When he was in high school he played baseball for them and he wanted to become a professional baseball player. He was drafted in the army in 1953 before he could sign any contracts to play professional.He was 20 years old when he joined the army, and he stood in the army 24 years. He fought in a lot of good wars but the main one was the Vietnam War. Some of the other wars he was in were the Vietnam War, Cold War, Battle of la Drang, and Operation Power Pack.
