The assessment for this Unit of Competency consists of three assessment tasks: • Theory assessment – requiring you to answer each question with short written answers; • Case Study Activity – requiring you to review case study scenarios, answer related questions • Practical Assessment – requiring you to prepare plans and conduct a presentation.
Result:

Develop a Policy and procedure Manual that would address the following: • Ensure performance is monitored regularly • Intervention occurs as required and in line with organizational policies and legal requirements • Procedure to support line managers to counsel and discipline employees who continue to perform below standard • Articulate dispute-resolution process where necessary • Procedure for terminating employees who fail to respond to interventions, maintaining organizational protocols and legislative requirements • Policies and procedure relating to recording outcomes of performance management system securely, be accessible to relevant personnel following the organizational policy • Policies and procedure for regularly evaluating and improving all aspects of the performance management processes, in keeping with organizational objectives and policies

• It is important to promote and improve employee effectiveness within the company therefore it is a continuous process where managers and employees work together to plan, monitor and review an employee's work objectives or goals and his or her overall contribution to the organization.
