As you know of Bud, not buddy it was way different back then and would have been a lot different now than it is now. I don’t think that Buds mom would have died because she would have more doctors and medicines that could help her. I also think that bud would not be hungry all the time because if an adult would see a child that is homeless I am positive that an adult will help them. There is also no segregation now so a lot more people would help and treat him a lot nicer. I think that he would have had a better life if he was not in the great depression.
Bud, Not Buddy was a good story, it takes place in the time of the great depression. Bud was a foster kid who at first stayed with a family name the Amos's. They were not a very nice family especially, there son he was Buds age and he was really mean to him. After that the boy made a lie about him and Todd the sons parents made him go and stay out in the shelter outside so he couldn’t harm anybody while they were sleeping. They also have Hospitals now so they would have a lot more care like doctors and nurses. Even if she didn’t want to go to the doctor I think someone now would try to talk her into it and she would end up going. They even have Doctors, offices now so if she didn’t want to go to the Hospital then she could just go there. I know she would have been in the Hospital a lot but they would at least of tried to help her. So, I think that if she was alive right know, I think she would stay alive with all the care that we
