As someone who cannot stand mosquito bites and is an advocate of a natural lifestyle as well as a Bakersfield resident, where the mosquitoes love to lurk, I am always fascinated by the idea of alternatives to chemically man-made mosquito repellents. Bug zappers can be an alternative to the chemically filled repellants, they are seen to be very effective for killing insects but there's one downfall to bug zappers as Doug Mahoney states “Bug zappers kill bugs by the thousands.” yet he also mentions “They kill the wrong bugs.
