Reflecting on the environmental issues I have learned about so far in this course, I can say that awareness is one significant aspect that has impacted me the most. I have lived and worked in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) for nearly 15 years, and despite the duration of my residency, this course has enlightened me about issues I wouldn't have known otherwise. Air quality, poor farming practices, global warming, and their negative impacts on low-income households and marginalized communities are all critical concerns I’ve come to understand. This course has also taught me how to conduct extensive research.
