As requirement for my Ecology course for the CBL stages report, I worked in a group of three students in the first stage. In that stage it was required from us to choose one of the resources in our world like (electricity energy, water, plastic... etc.). As a team we choose the most thing that it consumed most in our houses. For that we choose electricity energy. First, I would like to explain what electricity is exactly. Electricity, is kind of energy form that help in running most the equipment in our houses. This energy is running using a lot of power and that consumed much fuel in the big industry to run it in our houses. Each of us takes one thing and we settle to those three (Sockets, lights, Ac’s). for my part I choose sockets. Our plan was to observe the amount of the electricity used in the houses by our families. For that, we made a tables measuring for one week. Finally, we wanted to help our families to understand the harm that we caused for the environment by wasting the electricity. To collect my data, I choose five rooms to observe the consumed of the electricity amount through the using of the sockets. The five rooms were the most rooms that consumed and waste electricity. For that I made a table contain seven days as for one week and the five rooms. As shown the below table:
In my house each room have three sockets. To fill up this table I had to observe for one week each room how many sockets is on. To be more specific I was checking the rooms every three hours and before sleeping. To do that, I took pictures and held the above table, because I print it out to collect the data easily.
