Come sweet death was a special piece. At the beginning of it, the melody was placid; the singers swayed their bodies to the rhythm. It is a riposato hymn. I knew that through the coordination of music itself and the movement. With the development of the plot, it got stronger. And the choirs started to sing in different lyrics, different pitches and different melodies----it was a kind of music called Aleatoric music. In Aleatoric music, some elements of the song are determined by the performers. They could choose the way they wanted to perform. In this way, artists could display the music depending on their own understanding. I was hearing hundreds of different things at the same time, it seemed to be crowded, but it was not. It was so harmonious. The sound was rich and plump but it did not sound messy at all! The choirs were doing hand signs at that moment: they reached out their hands, and hold back them slowly. It seemed like they were trying to impetrate with the humblest hearts. It showed the faith of god. It was so touching and moving. I think having hand signs was the reason why the song was not messy. The body languages made the chance music neat and helped me to understand the theme
