I grew up in a Christian upbringing. We went to church every Sunday and bible study every Wednesday. When I was a teenager I rebelled against God. I blamed him for all of the wrong that went on in my life. All the suffering and abuse that I went through I blamed God. I never really thought about all of the blessing that he gave me. As a young child I was taught that Jesus was our Savior, he died on the cross for me I only believed because at a young age I was taught by my church and my family. I thank God for this because without him I will forever be lost and confused. He gives me strength when I cannot go on, and through many adversities that I have faced. Proverbs 3:5, 6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. I know that I cannot change the past but I always pray for guidance that God will lead me to my happiness and purpose in life. I trust in him with all my
