Conquistadors were leaders of the Spanish conquest of the Americas, Cabeza de Vaca being one of these people. He had to deal with many problems after his raft landed him in Galveston Island, Texas, his main problem being survival. After walking up to 2,500 miles and dealing with Indian tribes, Cabeza de Vaca managed to make it to Mexico City and go back to his homeland, Spain.
