A trait he showed that I also take pride in myself is the amount of respect I give to others. “Treat others as you would want to be treated” was engraved to me as kid and has stuck with me throughout my entire life. I make sure to treat everyone with respect especially when it comes to my peers. Unfortunately, I know the feelings that come with being disrespected and try to bring myself higher than that to others so they don’t feel the same way. When given a task, I take an extreme amount of pride to give it my best while also making sure to complete it in a timely manner. Captain John Miller was dedicated to accomplishing the task the military gave him. He gave his all to the mission and embraced to his soldiers the importance of the task so the mother of the Ryan’s wouldn’t lose all her sons to war. Being so dedicated to his work, Captain Millers credibility doesn’t go unnoticed. His superiors know from his past assignments they can trust and rely on him to complete the mission.
In my current job, my values reflect in my work ethics I provide at work. Being a manager of a used car dealership, treating customers with respect is crucial. In many circumstances, salesman have one chance at earning respect from a potential customer. When going out to greet customers, my character and demeanor is instantly being judged. The first impression is the most important of all to possibly gaining a new customer. If I were to greet someone without respect and come off as rude or arrogant, a customer may gather a bad impression of me and possibly take their business
