The very known Captive Panda Program is very known artificial breeding and training program for pandas which held in China. There are many talks and thoughts over this topic that it’s flourishing the internet as flu. But does this publicity worth it?
The pandas are one of the cutest animal on earth no doubt. But this animal species is now under extinction. So China has taken a great step to actually train this pandas in artificial environment make them much stronger to the perspectives, capable enough to hold the species. When the program started, it was really supported by many public and higher media like BBC. But BBC itself strongly took opposition the program when a cruel video of rough behavior of a surveillance of the program with a helpless panda. After the video got viral BBC instantly posted news with the tag “Outrage is growing in China over a video that appears to show mistreatment of two giant panda babies at a famed research facility in Chengdu.” (BBC, 2017).
