One legislation is The Care Act 2014 main purpose is to set out the ways in which local authorities can carry out carer’s assessments and needs assessments. They also introduced new obligations on local authorities for such things like, who is eligible for support and the new standards on how local authorities should charge people for things like community and residential care. The Care Act tenders to adults who are in need of care and support that they can no longer provide for themselves.
