Mars is the only planet that tends to have life after Earth. “Is there life in Mars” is one of the most debated topic so far and is being questioned all over the media and between people. Mars is the fourth planet in our Solar System and is considered as the Red Planet since there is iron oxide present on the surface. It was once believed that life existed in Mars, but is there really life in Mars and if so can people be able to travel to Mars?
What is life?
The search for life in Mars would not be complete until we find out what is life? When we say what “life” is, it seems to be easy to describe. It is as difficult as saying where life came from. Even the biologists have a hard time figuring out what “life” is. Carol Cleland in her

Its main purpose is to help us understand how all rocky planets including Earth, formed and evolved. According to the article “NASA Targets May 2018 Launch of Mars InSight Mission” said that Robotic spacecraft are leading the way for NASA’s Mars Exploration Program, with the upcoming Mars 2020 rover being designed and built, the Opportunity and Curiosity rovers exploring the Martian surface, the Odyssey and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft currently orbiting the planet, along with the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution Mission (MAVEN) orbiter, which is helping scientists understand what happened to the Martian atmosphere. The mission’s to find clues in the Mars about the early evolution of our solar system included international science team researchers from Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Conclusion
Even though similarity of the size of the Mars and Earth and the distance from the sun is close, the environment of Mars is not as same as the Earth for life to exist so far. Mars is small as compared of the Earth, which has less gravity. Since, there is not much atmosphere with no ozone layer and no protection from the ultraviolet radiation of the Sun is harmful for existence of
