Carol Yang was dead.
“I saw someone who looks exactly like Carol today.”
“Are you sure it’s not someone who looks similar?”
“No. I thought I witnessed a Doppleganger.”
After graduating high school in Beijing and applying to different universities, some of the alumnus in the same Shanghai area met up for a short get-together. All of us belonged to the different group of friends during our high school years, but the rough living life in the foreign city brought us together often, and it led us to this regular get-together on the first Saturday of every month. Eva’s sudden words made him the center of attention.
