This article concerns an assessment that was conducted on how college students feel about the allowance of guns on campus. This survey also discovered that 78% of college students attending fifteen various Midwestern colleges were uncomfortable with the idea of weapons being allowed on campuses. Mr. Jagdish Khubchandani, a professor of community health education at Ball State University, stated that the reason he conducted this survey was to see how the students felt about guns on campus. Wiseman provides a variety of scenarios of where a student carrying a gun would have been convenient and beneficial. She argues that if students and professors were able to carry guns, there would be less occurrences of rape and murder would occur. Correspondingly, throughout her article, she presents countless amounts of illustrations to support her claim. This article contradicts my other sources because it is in favor of college students carrying guns.

This article analyzes the positive cognitions of firearms not being allowed on college campuses. It gives statistical evidence of low death rates on college campuses because of firearms being restricted on college campuses. This article also includes students’ perspectives peon how they feel about firearms on campus. A questionnaire that included the benefits of carrying concealed weapons was given to college students, and over half of the students still felt that firearms were dangerous and unnecessary on campuses.
