Ever read a paper on who started black history? If one looks at the story of Carter G. Woodson. He had an exceptionally rough childhood, despite his circumstances, he developed an unmatched work ethic. Carter G. Woodson inspired countless people to go against the crowd and make a change in the world. His work ethic is like no other, from the day he was born he's done everything to win, and make others get into better places. Many young people in America are forced to work at a young age, some not even able to attend school because they have to work. The story of Carter G. Woodson shows despite whatever situation someone is born in, they can still achieve great things, it is possible to make a great change in the world. He was living proof of this, he showed everybody wrong. Nobody expected him to grow up and become a Harvard Graduate, he was born into poverty, very few people ever made it out of that life.
