The K-Cup and its company Keurig Green Mountain are a perfect example of a Blue Ocean company. The company only has two competitors which are SodaStream for cold beverages and Starbucks for the hot beverage division. Keurig Green Mountain is a market leader in the beverage market because they have an idea that everyone is trying to copy. Coca-Cola already has a significant position in the company and it would not surprise me if Coca-Cola buys the whole company outright with cash and stock options. It would add a tremendous growth brand to their already massive beverage conglomerate. I know I love using my Keurig for hot beverages on the go and I am going to buy the knew Keurig Kold when it is released. The company makes an awesome product
