Hernando county's ESOL is a great program from everything I've heard. The first important element of this program is the commitment to ensuring that the students feel comfortable. The schools try to gather as much information on the students most times from previous schools. This helps prepare educators so they know about their students and can help them more adequately. They also a lot to help students feel comfortable once they are placed in the ESOL classes. They create connections not only with the students but with their families.
