1. Who is the primary audience? Do I have a secondary audience? If so, who is it?
My primary audience is ranchers and owners of cattle because if they ingest the plant they could die. My secondary audience is pet owners because even though it is less likely that dogs will eat it, they still could ingest it and also die. In addition to people who care about removing invasive species.
2. What background knowledge and experiences do my audience members have regarding this topic?
My audience might have seen the plant before but not know what it is, or that it is invasive and toxic to cattle. Some audience members might have heard of the plant and know that it is toxic but not know how to identify it or safely remove it from their property. Some

I think me and my audience are equals and the relationship is informal. I want my audience to use the information I provide to help protect their cattle and pets from ingesting the plant by knowing how identify the plant and how to remove it off their land.
4. What ages are your audiences? How might age influence how you should communicate?
The age of my audience are primarily going to be adults. The cattle owners or people taking care of them are mostly going to be adults because it is a job. However, some kids with pets should know about the plant, but it would probably be easier for them to learn about it through a different medium, an info graphic might be hard for them to understand and is not really going to be targeted towards them. Age would change the language we use to get our message across, and the amount of detail we put on the info graphic. Kids would get bored with details and would need similar language.
5. How large is your audience? How will size influence the channel of communication that you use? If your channel is email, for instance, how will that medium affect how you write and what you
