These focus groups drew a wide range of participants from both sexes, various regions and demographics. The members of the focus groups were asked what type of luxury services, if any they typically use or would be interested in and why. In addition, they were asked if they are currently pleased with the salon that they go to and if they would be willing to try a new salon. They were given a folder containing information regarding Tres Chic’s offerings and asked to rate the services they would be interested in. The focus helped Tres Chic to understand their target audience and which serves should be marketed most heavily.
