Ladies and gentleman, we are gathered here today to seek justice. By starting, I would like to personally thank you for your willingness to join us on this dreadful occasion. We have the ability, and opportunity to put to rest the mystery of an innocent child's murder. This repulsive story can finally have an end and Caylee Anthony can rest in peace. Although what we say today cannot bring Caylee Anthony back, we can punish the wickedness that has been perpetrated. Since July 15, 2008, there has been a cruel injustice lingering in the air. A two-year-old girl named Caylee Anthony was reported missing, and five months later, found lifeless in the woods just a few miles from her home. Shocking right? How could someone, especially a mother, murder an innocent child? The thought of that is quite unsettling to most of us, but for Casey Anthony, it is just a memory she will have to live with forever. We are here today to bring justice to the defenseless (Caylee Anthony). I am going to lay down some evidence to refresh your memories in hopes that it will be made clear that Caylee’s death is really no mystery at all. The evidence is that 1: Found in Casey Anthony’s car there was a presence of volatile fatty acids consistent with the byproducts of decomposition, human hair, and traces of chloroform. 2: FBI found recent searches of “chloroform” and “self-defense” on Casey Antony’s laptop. 3: The strange attitude of Casey Anthony during the time period in which her daughter was “missing”. 4: The countless number of lies told by Casey Anthony throughout the investigation.
