I
open my eyes, they are heavy, like they are holding the weight of the world. I sit up in the very uncomfortable bed. The room is all white besides the blood stains on the ground which I think is mine. I went to tie the hospital style gown that is exposing my back right now. But my wrists and legs are held down by restraints. The last thing I remember was yelling, “where am I?!” at a person who I cannot seem to remember the looks of. I felt a small pinch and now a black bag is pulled off my head as I sit in a chair with a bright light above. My hands strapped to the table in front of me. A hear a door close from behind me. Please come back! I just have one question! She turns around contemplating whether to answer me. She slowly walks back. Where am I? I said in a harsh demanding voice. She swallows and looks at the door.
“I don’t have much time, they have a no patient-nurse communication policy but I saw what they did to you and I want to help you get out.” She whirspers glancing at the door again.
What are you talking about? What did they do? Where am I?
“You’re in Castle General Medical Center. I will come back to talk to you later where we are safer.”
Footsteps echo through the halls outside of the door.
“I got to go, bye and good luck,” she says before turning to walk out of the door.
Castle General? I had never heard of that. And why did she say good luck? Before I can try to reason out the answers to my questions an alarm blares through the speakers. I laid there in silence waiting. The door opens and a man walks in. He was in the interrogation room. He comes to my bedside and unlocks the restraints.
“Get up and stand beside your bed!” he barks.
I quickly get up and I scream in pain.
“I can tell you’re a newbie,” he chuckles. “I am here for a random inspection,” he says while pacing the floor.
How could you tell I am
