The Process of Learning
Parents might want to know what we mean about:
1. When we say the best predictor of a child’s learning is what they already
Know?
One of the best predictors of student learning is what they already
Know , before learning new information as well as how much background knowledge our students have. Background knowledge is the key ingredient to reading comprehension, as well as to what our students already knows about a subject that can help them gain new information.
As we know students begin to develop their background knowledge before they start school. Interacting with their parents/guardians as well as their teacher can help our students to establish what they think about the world as well as the things in it, like school, writing , reading, and learning.

Parents/guardians, if your child does not have background knowledge, then you should do everything possible to help them construct this knowledge. This will also help lead them (students) to much success in comprehension as well in school.
2. How do we learn ?
We learn through understanding, this way we will be in more control of our learning process. Education Goals: goals for each learner to
(1) Comprehend the principles of learning
(2) Respond to the value of the process of learning in our everyday life.
Objectives: our will as learner.
Cognitive : Clarify the various learning process covered in our class.
Examples of various process of learning in action. Affective : To provide optimistic feedback to the value of the process of learning.

Teaching Strategy: Is important for all adult learners to understand how learning takes place, they also need understand the acquire knowledge and the knowledge levels of learning as well as the value to ensure its use.
Our students also need to understand the basic concepts as well as the laws that govern our learning, they (students) can use if for themselves, their family and work as well as in our everyday life.
3. What is our roles as teachers and parents in teaching and learning?
As we know in the fast changing world of 21st century our public school has changed. So as part of the changing role of education and school will be different in both educational and society, together the role of teaching will also change. I am going to depict the characteristic features “ideal” we as teachers reveal our professional aims as well as our needs for the future. If we look closer at the characteristic of the changes, what must examine what they are. Schools were the source of knowledge, place where students where educated without parental control. Schools used to prepare our students for both exams in secondary education as well as exams for
University admission. Schools today help teach our students how to gain information as well as how to use it.

Parents are involved in making decision so they take part in their child schools. Parents also need to have a view what is happening in our educational institution.
We as teachers are considered to be the leader in the classroom, as well as the facilitator in the process of learning, we are also supporters and advisor to our student parents.
4. How are teaching and learning connected?
Teaching and learning are connected in many different ways.
One of our important connection are already in place and we a teachers simply need to keep in mind is : the educational levels and the educational continuum this is what links the components of education from kindergarten to graduate
