Deciding what career/major you want to do for the rest of your life is a gut wrenching decision to make. There’s one career path that has always held my interest since I was younger and that’s a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I can’t recall a time when I was younger where I wasn’t playing with my mom, who happened to be a CNA showing me how to check for a pulse on my teddy bear and other procedures she performs on patients daily at a retirement home she’s employed at. Therefore, as you can probably guess, I did my interview on my mother Adriana Floriano. She was born and raised in Villa Juarez, Aguascalientes, she moved to California in 1992 to continue her education and pursue her dream job. She went to school in Colusa and graduated with her general ed. She began working at Valley West Care Center in Williams,CA in 1999-2002 as housekeeping, learning as much as she can from Certified Nurses and the other staff members, she decided to quit and become a Caregiver throughout Colusa County.

From nine to ten she starts getting her residents ready for coffee. From ten to ten thirty she has her lunch break, From there it just repeats like the morning, except after bathroom breaks she gets ready to clock out at 2:30.
