As I explored throughout this book and with all of the evidence added up, people do realize that August is the friend for them instead of Julian because he shows them respect by saying Hi and complementing them of instead of using you just to be popular like Julian does. To back that up on page 307, it stated “And the next thing I knew, the two Maxes had come over, and Henry and Miles, and Savanna. Then Amos came over, and Ximena. And we were all in this big tight huddle as parents clicked away like we were on the red carpet somewhere.”. Basically what I am trying to say is that August showed respect and kindness to everyone and just wanted to be friends with them. Even though it took some time, they are all friends now and they are all happy
