In the book Tangerine, Eric made Paul's life very complex and difficult by effecting Paul with his decisions. Eric Fisher's choices impacted Paul by making him legally blind, not be able to do most of school activities and he made Paul's friends think differently of him.
In the book it stated, “Eric pried Paul's eyes open and started to spray white paint into his eyes” (Bloor 264). This shows that has little to no respect for his little brother Paul. “ Paul's mom tried to rise his eyes out afterwards but ended up taking him to the hospital.” (Bloor 264). This shows how bad this situation is and how Paul's mom, Mrs. Fisher had to take him to the hospital because the paint wouldn't come out. This effected Paul because
