After Gatsby loses temper to Tom and Daisy is freak out, she wants to escape from all of that and go home immediately. Daisy suggests that driving could make her relax a little bit. Gatsby looks at Daisy in tender eyes and agrees whatever Daisy suggests. Nobody says a word in this awkward moment, and Daisy drives faster and faster.

"Daisy, hey, Daisy, don't drive too fast. You can just give vent to your pain. See, I know I lost my tender and I'm sorry for that!"
