In the novel Tangerine written by Edward Bloor,Paul Fisher is a boy from Houston,Texas that moved to the strange place of Tangerine,Florida. He is considered visually impaired from an incident when he was young. He has a unique family, he has a perfectionist mother, a popular football star brother, and a father that loves his brother more than him. Paul as a character is a nerdy boy with not many friends in the beginning of the story but begins to develop throughout the book. Paul has changed a lot throughout the book in very monumental ways. Paul has changed from being a nerd with not many friends to becoming more of a mature grown up teen with many close friends.
