In Act V, Antony is successfully able to lead his army towards their goal of defeating Cassius and Brutus. In Act 3, Scene 1, Antony manipulates the conspirators, letting them believe he is on their side when he says "Friends am I with you all and love you all" (III.i.241). In actuality, he is actually planning to turn the people against the conspirators, as he says in his monologue to Caesar's body: "Woe to the hand that shed this costly blood!...A curse shall light upon the limbs of men" (III.i.284-288). This is a very calculated act, implying that Antony has a thought out plan and the brains to carefully manipulate them. Good leaders are people that can represent and guide a nation on a successful path. These people need to be literate, and able to communicate effectively with their people and the world. They need to be caring and strive to do what is best for their people, by showing mercy and compassion.
