Even though The Hitler Youth is a nonfiction book, it still has characterizations. One characterization I found in the book was happiness. The characters in the book, Edgar and Ulli, were cheerful because they don’t know what Hitler was doing to the Jews. They were taught that Hitler was the good guy. Another characterization I found in the book The Hitler Youth is that they are on the side of Hitler.
