Charles V. Ablen has recently graduated from high school and every time that his friends come over for a dinner or barbeque they always tell him how amazing it was and tell him he should be a chef. Charles thinks about it and agrees, he goes to the local library and does a little bit of research and sees that he has the necessary requirements. He begins to work at a big elegant hotel, named the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Charles begins as a dishwasher, where he works long hot demanding days with large amounts of physical labor.
