Charlotte Temple: The Movie Charlotte Temple, written by Susan Rowson, is a book about love, seduction, lies and heart break. The book is about a young, naïve girl that runs off with an older gentlemen to America in hopes of getting married to him and having a happy life, but when she gets to America all she dreamed of never happened. Instead she ended up being alone and pregnant, and abandoned by her child’s father. She had helped from no one except a nice woman and finally she died after having her baby, Lucy.

I chose Josh Dallas for Montraville because that is how I imagine him in the book, a handsome gentlemen. Besides he is a great actor as he plays Prince Charming in the series Once Upon a Time. I came upon my choice of Tom Hiddleston because Belcour is evil, everything he does he does it for him. Seeing Hiddleston play Loki I realized how evil he is and how well he can play a mean character like Belcour. My next actress is Megan Fox as Mademoiselle La Rue, I chose Megan Fox because in the book La Rue is described as a free spirit and someone that wasn’t as virtuous as other women. Megan Fox has played some characters that aren’t really “virtuous,” in addition she was describe in the book as being very beautiful and I thought she would be a great choice not only because she is a good actress but also she is very beautiful. My Next character is Mrs. Beauchamp, my choice for this character would be Anne Hathaway, she is someone that I think gives a feeling of warmth and friendship. In the book she is the only one that tries to befriend Charlotte and I think Anne Hathaway would be great for this character since she seems like she would be a good person and would try to help others. Also I would get rid of the part where the writer talks about how Charlotte’s parents met and why Mr. Eldrige was in jail, but not the part as to why Charlotte’s parents are poor because I think the viewer would like to know why she is poor and why Montaville wont marry her. In addition the reason of taking off the story of Charlotte’s parents is because I would like to focus more on the relationship between Charlotte and Montraville and the characters that led her to her doom. Other than that I would not take any other scenes out of the
