If not it is a deadly treatment that is supposed to kill cancer cells and help your body cure cancer, but it is not worth the side effects and the cost to have it done to yourself. It has been used since the 1940’s, and in 2017 its survival rate for leukemia patients is just 63% with 2 years of treatment can you say wow. It all depends on what kind of cancer and what stage he or she is in but, for a average cancer for treatment of 3 months it cost over 20,000 dollars. Also it causes the death of good cells in your body not just the bad doesn't that sound great? So do you think that chemo is worth the pain and money just so that it will maybe save your life?
