I love taco salads especially chicken taco salad. When I am preparing a chicken taco salad, I use a pound of boneless chicken breasts. Chicken breasts, dressing and salad ingredients and about forty minutes are all one need to create a mouthwatering chicken taco salad.
The step to achieving this delicious meal is cooking the chicken breasts. First, I rub the chicken breasts with a mix of olive oil, pepper, and salt. I then place the chicken breasts in a pan with heated olive oil and cook for about ten minutes over medium heat to give the edges an opaque looking color. Flipping the breasts, I lower the heat and cover the pan and continue to cook for another ten minutes.

I add some spicy salsa and stir. I mince some cilantro and mix them in the bowl and stir it to combine. I then get the other salad ingredients ready. I take two cobs of corn a shuck them and roll the corn in the skillet used to cook the chicken. I then throw the corn into the grill pan and grill the corn and continue to slice the kernels right off.
I use the green leaf for the lettuce to get the original taco experience. I take some tomatoes and slice them nicely and continue to dice them. I then take some cilantro and chop them roughly so am left with whole leaves rather than the stems. Next, I slice up some green onions and grate some pepper jack cheese. I pick some flavored tortilla chips in a plastic bag and smash them using my fist until they are all broken up. I then dice up an avocado. (Alsbrook Sr)
To build the salad, I hear the shredded lettuce in a bowl, spread the cubed chicken on top and add the diced tomatoes, a layer of cheese, a layer of corn, add the diced avocado, sprinkle the green onions and cilantro. At last, I sprinkle the crushed chips and drizzle the dressing on top. The salad is to die for I must
