“Detective Browning, please report to my office immediately.” Chief's voice blasts over the intercom of the police station. Great, I thought, "Let's see what I'm in trouble for this time." Being a detective in a small town near the border of Mexico, people are constantly complaining about the cops being too “Rude” down here, so the likelihood of someone complaining about our attitudes isn't uncommon. I get up and close the file sitting on my desk and I begin to walk toward the Chief of Police's office. I knock on the door and hear a deep, rough voice tell me to come in.
