Unfortunately, child labor is becoming very accepted in the work field. As stated in the article Effects of the Industrial Revolution, “In 1789, in Richard Arkwright’s new spinning factory, two-thirds of 1,150 factory workers were children.” Additionally, child labor is the cheapest labor of all and it is resulting in a cheap or deleterious environment for children.
