Child Lucas Peterson Case Study

CCIB received CPS referral #0019-3368-6552-5080119 regarding child Lucas Peterson (DOB: 07/22/17) . Lucas disclosed to him mother Janet Kook, that he was taken upstairs. The child stated that the closet was dark and that he was throwing clothes around. It is unknown to RP if putting the child into the closet was a form of "time-out", if the door was locked or how long the child was in the closet. It is also unknown when this incident took place. Lucas' twin sister (unknown) confirmed the incident with her mother. It was reported that on another occasion, child Lucas disclosed that he was thrown by a staff member.
