Sometimes we think what makes children happy is by playing, singing and do some arts, feeding or diaper changes are the most important duties during of child care and everything that it’s around them it’s normal and you just have to maintain that environment so children do not feel frustrated, and unhappy. . But, really situation is to maintain a safety environment by teacher, and directors it’ to keep children free from any harm or danger inside the daycare facility and also outside the day care facility. My goal it’s to provide a safety setting environment for all infants and toddlers in the Little Caterpillars room every day under my supervision.
As a matter of fact, maintain a safe physical setting is a way to decrease and prevent the levels

The main objective in the “Little Caterpillars” infants and toddler room is to never leave a child unsupervised at any time. By always applying the acronym S.H.A.D.E. learned in class which is see, hear, access, direct, engaging. This will allow me to prevent any tragedy, and ensures that safety is maintained in the room for each child that is in my care. If for any case, I need to leave the room I will have a colleagues to watch the children during my absent, also during diaper changes I will place the infants on the floor so my colleagues see them, and as well always ask for identification, and password, if the person that is picking up the child is not the parent or the authorized pick up before pass on the child to that person.
Moreover, lead poison in children under 6 years old is the leading setting that evoked illness in children. This can cause a developmental disorder and sometimes death. For this reason, my goal will be make “Little Caterpillars” infants and toddler room lead free by implementing these methods: never allow a child chew keys, old furniture, windowsill, and any metal, every time performing hand-wash for each child and myself let the tap water rung for 1 min. before using it, also always wash children’s hands after playing, before meals, and before and after
