“Want to go to Chill On the Hill with Rosa today?” Of course I wanted to go. Chill On the Hill is similar to concert festival. It is at Freedom Hill and there are 2 stages, a main stage and a small stage. On Sunday there were about a dozen bands performing such as, Silverstein, USS, Attila, Chevelle, Taking Back Sunday and Rise Against, who were the main headliner. Another similarity is that people are being shot into the crowd and dancing like complete freaks.
When Rosa and I met up somewhere near the venue she gave me the ticket that her mother had gotten last minute from her work. We had one VIP ticket and one General Admission ticket. We were more than ecstatic to be going to this concert, though I was definitely not dressed for it as I was wearing an oversized Canada sweater and capris and it was even more hot during the concert than it was at the air show. Everyone else was dressed much more ‘concert ready’ in their shorts and t-shirts and some in emo/goth costumes only just more adding to the circus
