How would you feel if the government controlled how many kids you had? That's what's been happening in China since 1980. In 1980, China saw a problem with overpopulation. They set up the One-Child Policy, a policy that limits families to only having one kid (with exceptions). However, was it beneficial? The short answer is no. Because the population would have gone down by itself, the families that wanted more children were penalized, and it left only children feeling lonely.
