Overview

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. since opened in 1993 has quickly become one of the most popular fast food service company specifically known for its strong integrity to serve healthy food. However, Chipotle may be facing some risks, preventing the company from maintaining and increasing its sales. This proposal aims to address one of its weaknesses and provides a solution to turn its weakness into strength. Currently, Chipotle is lacking in the menu options and tastes compared to its competitors such as Qdoba Restaurant Corporation. According to Paul R. La Monica, a journalist of Cable News Network, there is a serious debate online between Chipotle and Qdoba consumers comparing the two brands on tastes and food options, with Qdoba as the winner (La Monica). In order to increase its sales, Chipotle needs to grow as a company and develop more menu options. So, this proposal is for the Chipotle management team to consider adding at least two or three more menu items to provide customers with more choices and to gain more sales.
