Tiffany Potts The job I chose for a health occupation is the study to be a chiropractor. A chiropractor believes that when there is a misalignment in the vertebrae, pressure is placed on the spinal nerves leading to pain and disease. They also focus on ensuring proper alignment of the spine and operation of the nervous and muscular system. There also has to be many requirements to become a chiropractor. Such as special skills, license requirements, responsibilities and mant other things. In order to become a chiropractor you must complete high school and go to a chiropractic school for four years. Normally this will be done through questions and basic physics tests. He or she will help fix the problem that the patient with their learned skills. As a chiropractor there are many requirements you have to meet other than the stuff from school. Such as, the minimum age that a chiropractor can be is 21. Also as a chiropractor, you have to have many personality traits to be able to deal with the people you help daily. You have to have to be able to understand and share the feelings of the person you are helping. You also have to have strong business skills to be able to expand your business. Most of all you will have to have good communication skills, and to be able to listen to what is going on with your patient so you can find out the best way to help. In order to become a chiropractor, there are many requirements that you have to reach. Some of which programs in high school can help you with. Hosa is one that is offered. Many requirements that you need, you will be able to get in college when you are getting your bachelor’s degree.
